Marina Slip Rental Information 2025

Miller's Westerman's Marina (MWM) is located in Portage, Indiana on Burn's Waterway. We are located within a mile from Lake Michigan with direct access to the Lake. There is also no waterway lock to hold you up. You can be enjoying your boat on Lake Michigan in no time at all. The lakefront areas around Burn's Waterway include many great "boater beaches" to visit. We also have great fishing just outside the mouth for the anglers in your family. Being centrally located on the Lake you can also make a run to Chicago or even take a short run up to Michigan City or New Buffalo for lunch. We hope you will join us at our rustic little marina for the 2025 season. We have slips and dockage for boats from 16 feet all the way up to 40 feet in length. We may be able to accommodate your boat so please call. MWM is only 30 miles from Chicago. If you are coming from the Chicago suburbs, MWM is about 45 minutes from the I-55 & 294 junction. We are just 1/4 Mile N. of Rte 94 at exit #19 (Rte 249). Area amenities include the new Bass Pro Shop and numerous other restaurants and hotels.

Returning Slip Holders

Hello, we would like to welcome you back to Miller’s Westerman’s Marina for the 2025 boating season.

Slip renewal deposits (1/2 down) for slip holders are due on December 15th, 2024.

The second 1/2 of slip payments are due Feb 15th, 2025.

Slip availability will be on a "first come, first serve" basis after December 20th, 2024. After December 20th, once we know who is coming back, new slip holders will be assigned to the open slips. Get those deposits in fast as we have many new customers waiting for slip availability.
